Dina is originally from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she moved into Dix Hills on Long Island right before the end of her junior year. Her siblings include two younger ones as well as an elder brother. It was her first position in the field. The model was employed from the age of 9 to 16. The beginning of her acting career was with The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied Sanford Meisner's methods along with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training as did Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are also amongst those actors who've received this type of training. Her first performance came in Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out in Los Angeles. In the next couple of months, she was offered the role of Johnny Mnemonic. For this movie, she was responsible of almost every stunt and showed herself to be an experienced actor. The agency she was represented by was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent she managed to secure a regular spot on Friends.
