American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career in an supporting character in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). She later played reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt and played a supporting part in the short-lived show The Ex List. She was Kaylee as a young Moira in the initial season of on FX's American Horror Story. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on The NBC series This Is Us. She also voiced a variety of characters from the animated series Family Guy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe the character of Netflix's series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She moved to California with her mother when she was of 10. The family were able to move around for a year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she began to take an interest in photography, acting and singing. Breckenridge re-located to Los Angeles with the help of her mother when she was 15.
